Code Art Festival

07.17 | PALO ALTO, CA

Code Art Festival featured (8) temporary public art projects in downtown Palo Alto, each having a “tech” component. Our project - Sensation Lane - was designed catering to all five sense: sight, smell, hearing, touch, taste. In the busyness of the world, our project invited people to slow down and take in a truly transformed alley. A large chalk mural of various flowers adorned the walls under an urban chandelier of lights. Laser activated bell and harp sounds played as people walked through getting scents of gardenia and jasmine tied to our archways. Tactile mushrooms and mosses were installed in old phone booths for people to touch while given fresh mints to enjoy.
